It has a strong, slightly fruity flavour with a bit of a bite, but it can range from smooth to more intense depending on how it’s made. Think of it like a warming little capstone to a good dinner!

Amaro is an Italian liqueur known for its bittersweet flavour. It’s a mix of herbs, roots, spices, citrus peel, and sometimes even flowers, all steeped in alcohol and sweetened with sugar. The flavour profile varies a lot, depending on the brand, but it’s usually a balance between bitterness and sweetness.
